Join us in exploring the creative possibilities of moving with each other: alone, together, open, closed, lost, or found in the space between and around each other. We will use Soul Motion inquiries of rising and falling, revolution and rotation, weight shifting and shape shifting, full bodied movement and mindful inner explorations––in solo, duet, and ensemble––to invite a relaxed presence in the body, in community, and ultimately, in the everyday dance of life.
WHO SHOULD COME:
This workshop is open to all: not only dedicated dance devotees, but also and especially beginners and anyone interested in deepening their practice.
Come, experiment with us as we wake up out of the dream of separateness into the dawn of authentic communion.
WHAT WE WILL DO:
• spend plenty of time connecting deeply within–a necessary preparation for any meaningful contact with anyone else, on and off the dance floor
• practice maintaining that connection while moving with others
